First turns are easier when you have clear instructions and calm guidance. That's why our ski school operates in Tatranská Lomnica, teaching children and adults to ski safely with rapid progress.
Tatranská Lomnica is one of the most sought-after ski resorts in Slovakia. The cable car to Lomnický štít (2,634 m) provides access to some of the longest runs in the region. Our ski school is located right at the base station of the cable car, ensuring convenient access to the slopes. As an official Rossignol Test Center, we offer clients the opportunity to try the latest 2025/2026 ski models, including the Rossignol REACT and FORZA, before purchasing.
Instructors with APUL (Association of Professional Ski Instructors) certification and international ISIA qualification guarantee safe and effective teaching at all skill levels.

Our ski school in Starý Smokovec at Jakubkova meadow is synonymous with family skiing in the heart of the Tatras. Gentle slopes with stunning views of Lomnický štít create ideal conditions for first steps on skis, whether for children or adult beginners.
Jakubkova meadow is an ideal place for first skiing attempts. Gentle terrain, clear slope and peaceful environment give children and adults space to learn without stress.
Jakubkova meadow in Starý Smokovec is the ideal spot for children from age 3 and adult beginners. A gentle, clear slope approximately 300 meters long with minimal elevation difference creates a safe environment for first skiing attempts. Our branch at Hotel Atrium offers special discounted rates for hotel guests. The slope is equipped with a children's conveyor lift and allows gradual progression from absolute basics to independently managing gentle descents. Instructors are specially trained for working with children and families.

Ski touring (skialp) is a way of moving through winter mountains where you ascend on skis using climbing skins and then ski down through off-piste terrain. The High Tatras, reaching up to 2,655 m, offer some of the most beautiful ski touring routes in Slovakia. As partners of the Ski Trab brand, we rent premium touring sets (skis, skins, poles) and Scott touring boots. Our certified instructors will teach you proper ascending technique, powder skiing, and safety principles for moving through avalanche terrain.
